Uniwiki_old
Welcome to the Uniwiki_old! I'm your host,
Trevis Martin. This is an online play-by-wiki for the wonderful game %UNI% by Ralph Mazza and Mike Holmes. Universalis is a collaborative story telling game where everyone spends tokens to make their contributions real.
Take a look around! If you want to see how our little tale is going, I'd look at the most recent
Scene page. If you're interested in playing take a look at the
IAmANewPlayer page. All you have to do is register and then you can begin play!
Any other questions or problems, please
email me.

Game Ended
Just to make it official. We whittled down to three players and when they express doubts it's time to cut and go on. I plan on making this setup a module for TWiki and making it available here and I think Ralph will offer it on his site as well. Thanks to all who participated, it was good while it lasted. If anyone else out there thinks they have the commitment to carry out a game, I'll be happy to host it. Best to all. I'm composing an
actual play post for the Forge. Those of you who have particpated in the Universalis by Wiki experiments are invited to share your views.
Game Notation
Just for clarity I thought I'd note our conventions for game notation, at least what I think will work best. Right now you're either paying for a fact in scene or in a component and marking it with a coin spent [1] or with [n] for noted elsewhere. In a scene, since there are multiple things you can do you need to mark the action, if it's not obvious. Situations like control [1,control], Introduction [1,intro] (when not framing a scene) and exit [1,exit]. No need to mark simple events with anything other than [1] of course.
When in a component instead of putting "PaidForInScene 02 00 -- date", put "Paid in
SunsetGossip 02 00", that way it will count in the importance and have a meaningful link back to where the thing was paid.
The search that picks up expenditure in the scene looks for the "
WikiWord nn nn" pattern, the date is unnecessary (it will go in with your regular sig anyway.) Clear? Any questions, quibbles or suggestions, take them to the forum.

Tenet Phase Ended, Scene Play Open
Mine was the last tenet and I've not seen any others for more than 48 hrs. I have to assume that everyone has something that has them invested in the game as it stands. If not, then you need to post a tenet that addresses what you want pronto. Otherwise, Scene play is now available. Beginning next week, everyone is, per the tenet, committed to making two play entry posts per week.
